This project responded to the views and to the expanse of the large rear yard and
the narrow view oriented side yard overlooking San Diego Harbor and Bay. The clients
desired to have privacy but, at times, to use the same space for entertaining. The solution
included expanding the sideyard terrace and create multi-level terrace and seating areas
with seperate gardens, each having a theme that spoke to the client's interests.
